"Church" membership up in 2007
I use the term "church" loosely in this entry...this is perhaps old news to some, but recently I found this info on "the cloud" as we like to call it these days. While it's common for people to think that church evolvement and memberships are decreasing, it's actually on the rise. 2007 showed a modest 1% increase, with some denominations reporting decrease while others report increase. Overall, there are many more groups not accounted for because of lack of "membership" recording or not being affiliated with a denomination.
